If you follow the directions, the pot doesn't work. You cannot reduce or remove from heat before all the water has boiled up. Also, it says not to tamp espresso ground down but it works better if you do.The handle seems very flimsy for the weight of the pot when full with hot coffee.It's an OK product for the price point.

A demitasse cup is 2 oz. This is advertised as being 12 cup, therefore it should make 24 iz of product. It does not, it only holds 18 oz of water filled up to the coffee holder. You can't even get 2 decent size cups of coffee out of it.

Not sure about some of the negative reviews. This pot works fantastic. Watch some videos online how to use a Moka Pot properly and this will give you fantastic coffee and espresso. I like it because it gives you two large cups, unlike the other smaller ones out there.

This item broke too soon. The handle broke off as I lifted off the stove. Burnt my hand and chest and face... also, sometimes it will not steep espresso completely. You get what you pay for. Now I need to buy a new one.. should have spent the money and just bought a more expensive one.

Works great. Prefer this over using a french press. Tip: use Pilone coffee from Wal-Mart.

I have used this espresso coffee maker in different sizes. This purchase was to replace one that I used for many years.

We had this coffee pot for few months and the part where the handle connects to the pot came loose making it hard to actually pick it up. It hasnt fallen out, but its too wobbly so you have to rest it on the stove to pour it.
