Great replacement for OEM part
My old third brake light lens had cracked and was allowing water to enter the housing and eventually stain the headliner. This replacement item was priced well and installed easily in place of my old, broken light. The kit came with a new gasket and rubber washers for the screws. It seems to be well made. It adds a more modern look to my truck with LEDs instead of incandescent bulbs. The light was just installed today so we will see how it holds up but so far, so good!

Save your money, buy an OEM
You get what you pay for. I had a few issues. First, the screw holes were off centered so it didn’t want to go on straight. Second, the housing is thick like the factory one, but the finish on the reflectors the led’s sit in are terrible looking. It’s real rough/jagged edges. Third, and the most upsetting to me, my cargo lights don’t work. I can plug my factory light back in, and they work just fine, but they don’t work at all on this new one. Only reason I’m keeping this new one on my truck is do to the fact of my old one is cracked, and allows water to enter, which soaks my headliner. I would not recommend this one, spend the extra 30 bucks and get an oem.

Great fit -- easy install -- recommended!
-- includes gasket -- mine was broke and a new one through parts store and GM OEM was over $110. I have the new style 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 not the classic. I was concerned it might not be great, but I actually like it better than the OEM -- the LEDs are great and at least as bright as the old bulb style, probably more. I would recommend. Easy straight forward install that was just taking out original screws -- which you need to reuse -- cleaning surface, plug up original wiring plug to the new light, apply the peel and stick gasket, make certain all is clean and aligned and screw down. I had mine changed in literally about 5 mins, and it looks and works great. Again, I would certainly recommend.

OEM Replacement 3rd Light
My factory 3rd light had begun leaking water at the seal and was cause water to leak into my truck and all over the headliner. This replacement 3rd light was very easy to install and worked as expected for less than half the cost of one from the dealership.

Works fine, perfect fit. No new screws.
I put this on my 2007 GMC Sierra. Perfect fit, comes with a seal that has 3 m tape on both sides. I cleaned truck area and lip on light with alcohol. Then I attached to the light first. Save your two screws because you don’t get new ones. There is small rubber gaskets fir the screw as well. UPDATE; months later and lots of rainy weather, no leaks and working fine.

It’s very poor quality
It works but it is cheap looking where the reflectors chrome looks thin and wrinkled. Just looks and feels cheaply made. Leds are sorta bright but not real bright like a rear brake light should be. Cargo light not as bright as factory but will do. I highly doubt that it’s DOT approved.

Not the Brightest.
Fits well and works like it should. I wish it was a little brighter but I'm going mostly for the uniform look with my smoke LED taillights and this completes the look.Brighter LEDs would make this a 5 star review... Maybe next time?

Nice fit on a 2008 Silverado king cab
Nice light, great look. Come with a new foam gasket, but I had some silicone in extra, since that GM have some issue with leaky third brake lamp inside the cab ...

The cargo lights no longer work as courtesy lights lights when you unlock the doors with the keyfob. Seller was great and arrived early
