Not ready for production and forget any support
This tracker could be superb, sadly it is let down by a feature set that don't work as they should or not at all and virtually no support. I suspect Teltonika aren't interested in private or small quantity buyers. I read the manual for this item before purchase, thinking it would be great. But because there are so many features it can be rather experimental setting it all up, which is why configuration via Bluetooth is great feature, because once the tracker is installed in your vehicle you cannot easily get to it to connect your computer to it... which is why remote configuration is important. After purchasing the FMB640 Teltonika decided to revoke this ability via bluetooth, leaving remote config by SMS only. Problem is, many of the settings you need don't seem to work and it gets painful having to send hundreds of sms messages to the devices trying to find something that works.Another thing that is broke is low-High voltage detection. It doesn't work properly so detecting ignition source voltage is a non starter if used for the ignition source detection. I queried support about this issue, and at the point they realised it didn't work they stopped communicating with me.My other questions regarding configuration have gone unanswered too. I've noticed many of their answers given on the community site simply state "contact your sales representative". In other words, we aren't interested. Its a shame because the product in terms of build quality is very good, the feature set is very good, and for the most part it works as expected. But lack of communications regarding bugs and general configuration issues make this tracker something I struggle to recommend to people.
