Bought for our German Shepherd. She is quite small so bought the medium size.She measures 17 inches / 43cm round neck and 29.5 inches / 75cm girth. This is a good fit for her. If you have a big male Shepherd then you may need large. The front chest buckles are very sturdy metal . The two rear buckles are plastic so can't viuch for how long they will last. This harness has a chest strap which can be adjusted too. All of the buckles have padding behind them which helps to prevent chafing. There is a grab handle which is useful to control your dog and 3 metal attachment rings - back, chest and stomach. If your dog pulls, the front chest ring is useful to attach double ended training lead to stop this. She finds it very comfortable. Have only had it a short time so cannot vouch for how hard wearing it will be but the materials and stitching seems sturdy. Good value for money.

I've been using this as a seat belt for my large dog the last year. It has held up well but the straps loosen too easily is he moves around. Totally fine for the car but wouldn't trust it to walk your dog off without a collar attachment as a backup

It's a great sturdy design. However a little too big for our dog. She is a Holland Shepherd cross. We measured her as before we bought harness so should have been OK. But even though slightly baggy at bottom, it still works well. Its perfect on her without having to adjust when coat is put on her.

Fabulous harness for stronger dogs. Easy to put on - a little harder to take off as the metal clip is a bit tricky but you get the hang of pushing the levers up the right way! I’m still working out how to tighten the harness but that certainly wouldn’t prevent me from giving it 5 stars - the handle on top great, especially when I need to grab my boy off lead. Far easier to grab the top of the harness than grappling for his collar and it certainly reduces the strength of his pull when you have a hold of it. Thoroughly recommend.

I measured my dog and followed instructions ordered the Large for my 35kg GSDxHSKY. It arrived and it was far too big so I had to return it and order a medium. The straps are made so poorly that you don't have enough room or strap to adjust properly. When I received the medium all looked ok but still does not fit my dog properly. You can only extend it so much and the strap under his belly keeps coming loose I have had to try and find a way to pin, clip or stitch it up to stop coming loose . after using it for less than 2 weeks the whole harness just flops around on him. He is a big boy so the fact that a large and medium do not fit is very strange as never had this issue with harnesses before. You can tell that a small would be too small for him. It is the strap under his belly that does not adjust and it makes the whole harness slide around. I have taken it to pet stores and had my dog trainer try and fit it properly and all have said it is just a defected item and can't be used as is not fit for purpose. Not happy as spent good money on this harness and I now have to look to buy another one. I'm very disappointed.

Previously had the smaller rabbitgoo no pull harness, which is excellent, but after a few years of use was looking worse for wear. Saw this and thought it would be a nice upgrade. we ordered a large as that's what our dog (Vizsla Lab mix) had for the no pull harness. It was far too big, we could have fit two of her in it. So returned for a medium, which fits well, but unfortunately the metal clips on the front make the straps far too stiff, so when she pulls they just turn and make it easier for her to pull. So unfortunately we've had to return that as well and have gone back and ordered the smaller no pull harness. (Which I would highly recommend). Overall this harness is really nicely made and I can imagine for larger dogs it works quite well.

Our 19 month old Boxer dog was terrible for pulling. He can't when wearing this Rabbitgoo Tactical Harness though.The materials are clearly high quality, and it's a lovely shade of blue. I'll definitely buy another, if he outgrows this one.I'd say this excellent tactical harness scores 10 out of 10.

I have a 7 month old GSD from working stock who is reactive to strangers or anything coming toward her except motor vehicles. She barks and lunges and is amazingly strong. I feel confident walking her when she is wearing this harness. The handle is useful, easy to grab quickly and secure (although not metal reinforced as stated), the front and back leash points make a world of difference meaning I am more confident she will not get away from me. Therefore she senses I'm in control and this is making training her to accept oncoming 'danger' a whole lot easier and safer for all concerned. If she outgrows the large size I bought for her I will most definitely replace it with another in the next size up. The other plus is she looks fantastic wearing it ☺️

Fits his shape quite well and I like being able to put, “ask to pet” labels on it, along with his name.I also use it for a restraint when he rides in the truck with me. I like the handle for guiding him while loading into the vehicle and for giving him reassurance when he wobbles. It is strong and durable. The flaps that line under the buckles tend to bunch up, but other than that it is a good quality vest.

I don’t write many reviews but I really liked this item. I have a Rottweiler mix about 1 1/2 years old. For a few reasons I wanted to make sure she had the right gear when we go on walks. To start I’ll say this harness is. Just the right size. Some tactical harnesses are pretty stiff and cover a large area of the torso. I like how this one covers her but not too much and she can move around comfortably. There isn’t any pressure points that would be uncomfortable when she sits or changes position even though it does have some movement when she walks. She does have a tendency to lunge and bark and I feel comfortable handling her with the handle on the harness. Overall the black color matched her coat and she also looks really good. The clips are very strong but so easy to clip and I clip. Quickest dress and undress yet!. I would definitely recommend this harness.
