Save with Rechargeable
These chargeable batteries have a long finite life, at least mine (only difference the outer cover colouring) had over 10 years with long interim periods before recharging. They represent a VG cost saving.

Last well after charging.
I use these batteries in my xbox controller, remotes and digital camera. Rechargeable batteries are better, because normal batteries are hard to recycle locally.

They last a long time
I have had some of these batteries for over 15 years ( I got them for my first Sony compact digital camera, they had a red and green colour ) and they still work fine. In the meantime I tried Duracell and Energiser NI-Mh and they seem to fail after a few years, they cause the lights on my charger to flash - which means they have a problem with charging.... I am now going to buy some more Uniross Hybrio - they are good value because they last so long. I find ni-Mh last longer in things with a fairly low drain - but if you fit them to a device that is sensitive to battery voltage ( like our digital CH thermostat ) they show a 'low battery alarm' straight away because they are 1.2 volts, not 1.5 like alkaline or lithium
