I purchased these items to complete a total conversion (internal/external) to LED from 20th Century Incandescent & Halogen lighting. The removal of the old bulb & installation in the overhead rear cab housing was relatively smooth and seamless after slightly bending the contact points to retain a solid power connection. The color spectrum was consistent with the replacement floor and vanity mirror LED lighting creating a significant increase in brightness with color uniformity. Hope this helps!

Couldn't be happier with these lights. I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, and the halogen bulbs in my dome lights were useless - Couldn't even see anything in the cargo area when they were on.Now, the entire interior of the vehicle is lit up BRIGHT. Not even comparable to stock.The LED bulbs themselves seem decent quality, all 15 of the nodes on each of the 4 bulbs that this kit comes with are working properly and shining bright.

Changed dome and trunk lights Saturn sc2. Pulled off full light assy. With the light cover comes off easy. Snap assy back, break support. Had to glue machine nuts to backing plastic piece on roof. Nightmare.Number 2 potential issue. Check LED for proper direction. Diodes conduct only one direction.BIG PLUS - They throw about 2 or 3 times the light.BIG PLUS 2 - Rated current draw trunk and dome light .74A, The LED .12A. Not a biggie most of the time BUT leave a light on accidentally overnight (or several overnights like me) and your battery is dead. Hopefully these will leave enough battery the next day.

Bright light. Gets way too hot which means the power drop is based on resistance not electronic. Can also create a fire hazard. Also the electronic board is not insulated and expected to be problematic over time.

Knocked off 2 stars because one of them randomly goes dim after less than 3 months of use.

My truck had the lights with a solid round metal connector on the end. This doesn’t and I could not get it to stay in. Ordered different lights(proper ends) and they slide right in no problem.

Easy swap and OMG what an upgrade. These things light up the inside of my Jeep like day time. No flicker or issues. They do get pretty hot though so I worry a little about longevity. Time will tell.

Every LED I have purchased off of Amazon has worked and exceeded my expectations.If you power through a dimmer, expect flicker. When wired through an On-Off switch, they are rock solid.

As I finally bought new LED units to replace these badly flickering ones, I decided to put the issue to rest, but not without informing other potential buyers of my issue with these LED lights. I installed these back in the spring of 2018 to replace the dim stock bulbs illuminating the trunk of my Dodge Charger. In less than 14 months, these modules started flickering like crazy. Think about it, my trunk was opened maybe around 150 times in that time period and the trunk wasn't left open more than a few minutes at a time. The housings for the trunk lights in the Dodge Charger are not hermetically sealed and with the continental climate in Alberta, heat shouldn't have been an issue.
