Good value
I bought this and made my own ethelyne gas absorbers for the fridge. I simply cut the top off of the old absorber packets I had previously gotten in the blue plastic apple, dumped the old contents and refilled with this, Taped the top closed and was back in business. You could also use small spice containers, fill yourself tea bags, small drawstring muslin bags, or any other small container that wonβt get knocked over in the fridge. I have enough to make dozens of packets for a fraction of the cost of buying the pre filled packets. I love an amazing value and this is it!

Extends freshness of veggies and fruits by 7+ days!!!
Was skeptical but tried it out. Sewed up some 2βx4β pouches and filled with the grains then added to the produce drawers in my fridge. Cucumbers lasted 2 weeks longer and strawberries didnβt get that slimy fridge burn after even 4 days! The stuff works well! After a month it has already paid for itself in the amount of food waste reduced.

We'll see how this works
I am a kind of crazy locavore and I buy local apples to store over the winter in a converted window well "root cellar". This year I got this product and put a scoop of granule in a clean old sock to create a "sachet" and put one into every container of apples. I also have some sachets in my boxes of onions stored for the winter. This is much more cost effective than the "blue apples" and generates far less waste. I don't have any way to tell if it is extending the lifespan of my veggies, but the theory of why it works is sound.

the tomatoes were fine, not rotting and there was no funk
I put 15 small tomatoes in each of two plastic containers. They were all equally unripe. I added a small mesh bag of about 3 tablespoons of Smelleze in one container. I put the containers side-by-side near a window and waited for science to happen. Day one: no discernible difference in the tomatoes. Day two: forgot to look, had things to do. Day three: hm, container with Smelleze seemed to have a little liquid in the bottom. All tomatoes looked equally ripe. Day four: the container with the Smelleze is, shall I say, smelly. The other is not. In the Smelleze container, the tomatoes were squishy, with a little white fuzz on one and there was a bit of rotting tomato juice in the bottom. In the other container, the tomatoes were fine, not rotting and there was no funk. I was really surprised. How could this product accelerate ripening and rotting? I don't know, but in my experiment, it did. Now what do a do with a big container of this stuff? If the manufacturer can explain a flaw in my experiment, I can redo it.

Miraculous product! Great ethelene gas absorber...
...and saves a lot of money by preserving the freshness of store bought vegetables. Simply place a teaspoon or so in a disposable, refillable tea bag and tie the drawstring tightly. Mark the date on the tea bags before filling with the granules (replace every three months). Toss in the refrigerator bins with produce or place in a bowl of fruit on the counter. Much more cost effective than ethelene gas absorber eggs and shelf liners.

Works pretty well. Bought stainless steel mesh tea balls to put the granules in & keep in my fridge drawers. I change the granules out every 2-3 weeks. Way more cost efficient and eco-friendly than the Blue Apple products!

Haven't used long enough with fresh produce to know for sure
I find writing a review for Smelleze difficult to review because it takes time to know how it's working. I'm giving a 3 star because I just found a rotten apple in my refrigerator drawer. HOWEVER, that apple was in the drawer for awhile before I put the product in there. I will have to modify this review later, when I have had longer experience.
