My wife was looking for a compact CD player and this was the perfect size. It's easy to use, functions well and was a good value. Overall the sound quality is good. The best part... she likes it and uses it.

When I got the CD player out of the box, I tried to charge it. It only had a charging cord. It did not come with a charger. The instructions did not mention special charging requirements. I tried to charge it using my equipment. Several hours went by, but it wasn't charged. I went to this page and found out that it should have charged in that time. Someone mentioned in the comments that an AC adapter should be used to charge it. I was able to fully charge it using my Anker Power Port.I manually turned it on. I could only get the CD menu. I tried using the remote. It didn't work. I had gotten this player so that I could listen to CD's through my Bluetooth headphones. According to the instructions, the remote was the easiest way to get to the Bluetooth menu. Since the remote doesn't work, there is no point in my keeping this defective piece of equipment. I will be returning it.I do not want a replacement. This is not new technology. CD players and Bluetooth technology and remotes have been around for decades. I do not understand why, in this day and age, an expensive piece of junk like this can be manufactured.I will try my luck elsewhere.

It's volume is ok but you will probably want to add a speaker to get better volume. Otherwise seems great. I like that I can set start, stop and repeat of sections of a song.

Great portable cd player. Got as a gift for a senior. She loves it. Easy to charge, no cords to worry about.

Basic player for around the house

The volume is really pretty weak. I guess sitting on a table beside you, it might be loud enough. I thought the sound was rather muffled, too. My biggest problem was that it cannot handle continued vibration. Based on the reviews saying that it could really handle upsets without interruption, I thought there was a good chance it would work in the trunk of my CanAm Spyder three-wheeler. The sound through the radio's speakers was fine with plenty of volume. It worked well with the trike at a stop, and for a short time on smooth roads. After a few minutes, it quit. Even stopping my ride, the player simply couldn't recover. It required a power off/power on to begin playing again.
