Perfect so far!
I have only made 2 batches up to now, but it has worked flawlessly on both. Easiest ice cream making experience ever. I will update once it has more use, but so far, so good!!

Works without any issues
It works fine, no issues, makes ice cream. The design of this kitchen equipment is streamlined, is living on our counter because it's heavy but we're OK with that. It's handsome enough to leave out. We just wanted it to function as described and it does. The ice cream was just as anyone would want it. Recommend.

Lovely machine
I have had this long enough to make my own ice cream recipes several times. I love that I don't have to throw a drum in the freezer to prepare. I can just decide I want to make ice cream and an hour later, I have ice cream.

Compact and easy to use
I was pleasantly surprised with this ice cream maker. I didn't expect it to work as well as it does. It's compact, sits on the counter, and doesn't require salt or ice. It whips up a pail of ice cream in 40-60 minutes, (we let it chill a while). We've made 3 batches so far, and I need to look for better recipies, and pay more attention to when I'm adding the "add-in" ingredients. One batch I put the crushed oreo's in way to early, and they were mushy when it was done. Nothing to do with the machine, but more with the recipe and my not paying attention to details. If you haven't made ice cream before, or like me, haven't made it in a decade or two, follow the instructions until you get the hang of it.All in all the kids love it, you can make whatever flavors you like, and it's easy to clean. It gets tucked away when not in use, but it's easy to haul out, and fun to use.

Surprisingly, it Works Well!
When I got the ice cream machine, I wasn't sure what to expect, whether it would be easy, hard, or time-consuming. The machine came with a recipe book, which was very much needed, and I chose the recipe with the least amount of ingredients, and it worked out perfectly. I made the Philadelphia Style Ice Cream with heavy cream, evaporated milk, and sugar and added a little vanilla extract for the first time. My kids said it was the best ice cream they had ever had. I rattled off a few brand-name ice cream stores and store-bought, and they said it was the best. I also tried making bubble gum ice cream on my second go around, and it still had awesome results. In the few weeks of using this, I think it's a cool machine, as I can now make ice cream with fresh ingredients and lower the sugar amount or use a sugar substitute. I even made ice cream for my diabetic mom, with fake sugar and she loved it.Overall, the machine is working out great. It's easy to clean, and making the ice cream is set it, and forget it. Come back an hour later for your fresh ice cream. To clean, you just need to rinse the inner container with soap and water, then wipe down the top with a damp cloth. The rest is plastic, which I hand wash and dry. The buttons to turn on are a touch plate on the top, which makes it seem modern.Although it works well, there are some drawbacks. First, the size is larger than I expected, and it takes up the space of a small toaster oven. Next, it's a little loud when making the ice cream. Also, when finished, the ice cream is really soft, so you have to freeze it for a bit to get it to firm up. Also, purchasing all the ingredients is way more expensive than buying prepackaged ice cream. At the end of the day, though, it's worth it. You just need space in your kitchen to set it in.

A bit of a learning curve, but makes good ice cream
This is a large countertop unit with a decent sized bucket, and there’s no pre-freezing necessary. The process of turning on the machine is easy enough - choose your outcome and then hit the “play” button. However, our first attempt was a fiasco. For some reason the mixing part did not engage when we chose “ice cream” the first time. We had to let the mixture thaw a bit in order to have the machine mix the contents, and we also learned the mixture should still be cold before putting it in the bucket. The problem is any condensation around the bucket will freeze, making it difficult to take the bucket out. From here on out, I’ll mix the ingredients ahead of time & leave them in the fridge overnight before pouring the mixture into the machine. (Oddly enough, when choosing “ice cream” the second time, the mixing head engaged - go figure. Also, it is very loud.) I found the recipes in the enclosed book to be lacking a bit, but you definitely want to watch the amount of ingredients - the ice cream expands as it mixes and can quickly overwhelm the top. I found some decent ratio mix sites online for how much fat, solids, sugars, etc. to add to the mix and that resulted in a decent first batch, with excitement about improving on future attempts. The machine comes with a scraper and scoop, but both are very flimsy plastic. I’m showing my metal scoop for size comparison here, but the instructions say not to use metal with the machine so I’ll be sticking with a silicon spatula.
