Shibazuke- Pickled Mixed Veg-by-Yutaka-(1kg)

These pickles were relatively fresh tasting (they are packaged so aren't going to taste super fresh). They're very nice as a side with silken tofu or rice. Another reviewer has complained about the addition of MSG which is silly. MSG is a naturally occurring substance which has no detrimental effect on health but improves taste. I kept mine in a sealed box in my fridge and they were fine after the three days that the package recommends.

So firstly they did not come looking like this, they were all green.Secondly they’re very samey, the veg was varied but the taste was all the same.I recommend you put these in the fridge before trying they’re a lot nicer and firmer. I shared mine as they were to much on my own in 3 days as recommended.But my real problem is why do pickled veg need to have msg?!Over all they were okay. Can’t say they were the nicest I’ve ever had 🤣
