Bathroom Round Shower Hose Connector 1/2" NPT Wall Handshower Supply Elbow Outlet Water Spout, Chrome

The item is very nice! Solid, shiny and appealing.The only problem I had is that the mounting thread for to the wall is too short. About 1/2 in too short. So this connector can't reach to the pipe. Unfortunately this item is so well made that I can't take it a part and put a different fitting on it to extend it and I don't want to rip in to my wall to bring the pipe forward so returning it. Otherwise it's a very nice item.

For reasons I won't go into, I needed a hand shower supply fitting that would go into a narrow space. I tried 3-4 before I found this one. Not only did it fit perfectly in the small space, but it also appears to be well built, with the bonus of looking great, too. It is a machined brass.

I installed this in a sheetrock wall, rather than into a tiled wall, and I had access to the back side of the wall in a spot where I could open it up to add the plumbing. If you are starting with an existing rough-in, this elbow is not likely to fit. Though some people have said that you can replace the pipe nipple in this elbow with one that fits your rough-in, it's not really designed to do that. The elbow relies on a O-ring to seal the nipple in the body of the elbow. It doesn't look like it is designed to take the tapered threads of regular 1/2 plumbing.

Quality materials. Looks and works great.

Threads on this thing are so short with no eay to adjust. Unless your placement is within like 1/4 inch after tile, you can’t use it. Unfortunately I waited to long to realize this and will now have to eat the cost of this thing. Learn from my mistake and just stay away.

Great buy for the price. Sturdy, chic looking, decent quality. Will report how it holds up.

It has some weight to it and feels really solid. The size is perfect. And the modern styling looks great.

Complètement faite de métal, contrairement à la pièce qu'elle remplace. Les filets à l'arrière pour l'arrivée d'eau sont un peu cours mais tout fonctionne à merveille avec un peu de patience.

Great deal. Nicer and easier to install that $50 versions.
