A friend directed me to this product and thought about when I was a kid making candles with my mom - why not do with mine during Christmas break!Shipping was fast!Product quality good.Easy to follow steps - as my kids (11,13,14) were doing with me standing by.They had fun and the mess of when I did as a kid wasn’t an issue.Scents good - I’d like the ability to pick my scents, especially when giving as gifts, but for a starter pack, not bad.Lasting burn - for the size and DIY, again, not a long lasting 100 hr candle, let’s be realistic.It’s a fun DIY, especially for kids with supervision without going out and paying a ton of money for all the supplies. :-)

I really like soy candles, so why not DIY soy candles?? I invited my friends over to try out this kit and it was a hit! Super easy to follow and easy instructions. I liked that this includes real essential oils. They don't smell synthetic or gross at all. This is definitely a fun activity for groups of people. We made a lot of candles, enough for everyone to take home their own candle ( I invited 3 people for a total of 4 peeps, myself included).The only thing I did have trouble with was the tracking number for my package (it didn't show up for me) but a quick email to this company and they were on it like fire. Amazing customer service. I truly couldn't have had a better experience. Oh, and shipping was fast too! Always a bonus.

This was a great beginner kit. My granddaughter loved making the candles. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because one of the scents (lavender) was broken in the box on delivery. It seeped into a couple of the soy bags. So we just made lavender scented candles for the first batch. I would have asked for a replacement but she really wanted to make the candles while she was visiting so we didnt want to wait. The other thing was the coloring block. It did not color the candle at all. But they turned out nice and smelled really good after I added some extra lavender essential oil I had on hand.

Seriously Better Than Store Bought!The essential oils in this kit are high quality and above and beyond what I expected. I was really careful to add the scent once the wax cooled but before it solidified because you can loose some of the lovely scent if the wax is too hot. I made these with my 8 and 10 year old niece and nephew. We had a nice conversation about fire safety too! I was thrilled to support so many American products in the kit: the tins, wicks, and wax are all US made! Super high designer labels. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.

We tried the bath bomb making kit from this same company and loved doing it with our kids so much we thought we'd try another one. The candle making kit if perfect for my in-laws as a gift for Christmas. They're going to love it and we're hoping it becomes another Grandma + Grandpa thing to do with the kids. The quality is great and having everything put together in a nice package makes it really easy to try something, like making bath bombs or candles, which I never would have thought I'd try. when i first got this package i was very excited! It was well raped and nothing has broken. But i was missing three items from this package! Not only that but it was very messy and it took me over an hour to clean up! I enjoyed all the variety and it was fun and easy but i think i would have been safer getting the ingredients separately. I enjoyed my candles finish but there was candle wax everywhere!

I have been searching for a candle making kit for a long time, and usually the other kits never include everything that this one includes, which makes buying everything separately way more expensive! This kit comes with everything, including easy to read instructions! The candles were easy to make and set beautifully. The only downside is that they're not as aromatic as I wished they were, but that can be fixed by adding more of the scent, or by using your favorite essential oils.

Very clear, easy instructions, & nicely organized kit. My 11 year old daughter received it for Christmas & was able to handle it herself with only my supervision. She had a blast making candles for Mother's Day. We would definitely recommend!
