Bought this tap as I have Arthritis in my thumbs and struggle to turn the conventional outdoor tap. This tap is much easier. I also wanted 2 outlets so I could keep the hosepipe attached permanently, as again I struggled to remove the hosepipe connection when I want to use a watering can. HOWEVER it does not come with a CHECK VALVE, or for those of you like me who don't know what a check valve is (it's a woman thing) it's a valve that stops contaminated water from a hose pipe flowing back into the tape. All was not lost, I had a separate check valve fitted to the water pipe by the plumber while he was fitting the tap. Works well, would definitely recommend

Compact, valves are easy to turn. Ideal if you have a watering system as you can connect that underneath and still have a proper hose bib.

Came here looking for a replacement for our old outside cold water tap that had started leaking through the gland and spotted this two way tap that would save us uncoupling and refitting our garden hose reel when water for other purposes was required. Having now fitted this tap we would never go back to the old screw type taps because this is so instant and can be turned on and off by just a little finger. Looks large in the photo but in real life it does not stick out much further than old style screw taps if that's an issue.

Very handy having dual outlets. Bare in mind that there are no non-return valves at all on these taps, so for outside use you need to install a check valve after them and before your internal pipes.As can be seen in the picture, I have two of these. A hot tap and a cold tap. I'm using the rear two to combine and mix into the hosepipe. I've added screw-on single check valves to those (in addition to double check valves from the internal feed). This nicely leaves the front outlets for things like filling buckets.

One of the tap handles now turns freely, not turning on the water, because it turns out the bit that should grip the valve is made of soft plastic, not being strong enough to turn the valve it has just deformed. You can see in the picture the surfaces that should be flat but have been rounded off.This is after one year of light use.

Excellent product, easy to install, and very good. Substantial but of kit and having 2 tap connectors is great.instead of turning A tap on and off you just turn a lever highly RECOMMENDED

Been looking for this type of product for ages. It ticks all the boxes for my application. It really is a good quality product and would thoroughly recommend it
