It sure is cute. Haven’t tried it in the shower yet for waterproof, but it’s plastic on the inside sitting on the outside. I don’t think your hair will get wet, but perhaps the cap will and that’s OK easily dried overnight.

This was an awesome purchase. I actually bought it as a gift for my friend who has long locs down to her butt. She is able to put her hair in a bun, tuck them in and perfectly seal her hair with this shower cap. I am actually going to purchase this one for myself for when I wear my afro styles. I also bought the regular shower cap for myself when I wear straight styles. It is a firm tight fit but it definitely protects my hair, and I like it.

I bought this shower cap in January, 2024, and just repurchased it this November, 2024. The photos are from my original purchase to highlight what you can expect over time with this product. Photo 1 shows some fading from the gold colored spots to a red brick color; I’m completely fine with this because I think it still looks pretty. Photo 2 is the back of the cap, a gummy adhesive has come off which allows the cap to seal and stay in place. Photo 3 shows the gummy adhesive is still in place but it is loose; because of these two issues the cap is in need of replacement because it doesn’t stay in place and slides onto my forehead when in use. With all that being said, this was the 2nd shower cap i’ve ever purchased. I love this one because it doesn’t leave a harsh line across my forehead after use because the design is that it sits and stays high enough on my hairline. It keeps my hair dry while showering, dries completely in between use, is pretty to look at, and easy to use. I love it and that’s why I repurchased it. However, I do not agree with the price since I will have to buy it again in 11 months. I did put it through the washing machine maybe a handful of times and hung it up to dry. Maybe I won’t do that this time and see if the gummy adhesive stays in tack.

This is the best shower cap ever made for long hair. It holds all of my hair. None of my hair gets wet. The shower cap is comfortable. It is very easy to close up securely. It repels the water. It is very high quality.

This is my 2nd purchase of this shower cap. I love it! Not only is high quality, secure around your head, so it doesn't allow your hair to get wet, it also looks super chic and cute when you have it on!
