I bought this to braze small items, rather than use my big clumsy propane set-up.It feels very well made. I don't think it is expensive for the quality. In use I simply open up the gas valve, then pull the trigger. It fires up instantly, and also shuts off as soon as the trigger is released. No need for a separate lighter, and it doesn't waste gas. The flame is good and hot, and good for precise work. I have also used it to free stuck bicycle cranks etc. It is a smashing piece of kit, I recommend it.
