Like the box. Only real problem was that I had to redo the lock system because it wouldn't lock. Adequate lock but was slightly out of position so just had to bend a couple of parts to make it work properly. Still a good box for the money.

Had to put WD40 in the lock mechanism after several months in the rain, but great quality, strong box. Would buy again

Perfectly fits between the wheel wells on my 2001 4Runner. Lock works. Came with two keys. Mine was not damaged in shipping as others have reported. The hydraulic lid opener works great. Lots of room.Only complaints are: 1) the box’s aluminum is pretty thin 2) the lock mechanism is pretty wimpy. A pry bar and it’d easily open.Overall glad I got it. Keeps all the emergency supplies/jumper cables, etc. organized and from rolling around.

I have a vehicle, which finding after market parts for, is almost impossible. In addition, most of the boxes got bad reviews because of weather elements being able to get in, one way or another. I was almost at my wits end until I looked up the best truck boxes for ‘23 and this box was number 2, in Popular Mechanics. I knew the absolute length and didn’t mind so much about the other dimensions (within reason). This box fits perfectly in the trunk. I like the easy open top, multiple keys and the overhang, on the top, to prevent water from getting in. I drilled 2 wholes, in the bottom and bolted the box to the bed. Now, I don’t try to jam in everything into my truck, while carrying 4 people. My tools and emergency supplies go right into the truck box! I’d definitely recommend this box.

I think this is a pretty good box for the money BUT...they gave me the wrong keys to the box. Now I can't lock it. I had already installed it by the time I noticed

I’ve read reviews it’s not waterproof. It’s not but nothing in my box got wet or damp during all day rain with periods of down pour.The lid latch release isn’t elegant, cover jumps open, but it works and is just fine. The lock is pretty feeble, but mine is in a locked tailgate with a tanocover…. Lock is good enough to keep the honest guys out. Would buy again for my use case.
