Excelent service and product quality
Very impressed with both the quality and the operation of this product. Although I haven't had it very long it has been well used and have not changed my initial view if it. It cuts and slices everything I have used it for (various meats, both hot and cold, loaves of bread and even experimented with some vegetables. Especial pleased with the results. The thickness adjustment is easy and we have sliced ham paper thin and bread for toasting. It is very easy to operate, to change the blades amd to clean after use.It is well constructed, sturdy, feels solid when using it and remains in place. It is reasonable quiet in operation as well.In all, my wife and I haven't found any problems with it and both agree that it improves the economey and the presentation over hand carving and slicing produce.May not be the cheapest slicer on the market but I feel it is probably the best value.I was also very Impressed with the seller and there after sales service when they contacted me after few days. Well done Hartside Products Ltd. and Amazon UK

Great Slicer for Home Use!
I recently bought the M4Y Meat Slicer, and after using it, I’m really happy with the purchase. The 22cm blades are sharp and cut through meat, cheese, and bread with ease. Having three interchangeable blades is a nice bonus, as it allows for different types of slicing. The machine feels sturdy and well-built, and it stays stable while in use. It’s also fairly easy to clean since the parts can be removed. The motor is powerful enough for home use, though I wouldn’t expect it to handle very thick cuts of frozen meat.Overall, it does exactly what I needed it to do—a good, reliable slicer for my kitchen!

Good
Good and solid machine, supplied with sharp blades. Used mainly for slicing beef and continental sausage - no problems except that cleaning can be a bit tricky, especially the narrow spaces around the blade.

Great addition to any kitchen.
Did the job, have so far sliced 6 large joins of meat with great results.Worked on ham, Lamb, Turkey and Gammon with ease.Perfect for large joints of meat. Great range of cutting thickness, works on wafer thin and thick slices. No problem with over heatingEasy to clean and dry.Great value for money,We’ve had 4 different types of machines and so far this is the Best slicing machine I’ve had.

Excellent machine
After looking at reviews on various sites I decided to buy this food slicer as opposed to a slightly cheaper one. It arrived the next day with full, clear usage instructions. The blade is slight larger than other machines I had looked at and it comes with two other blades which are so easy to remove and change round. It can be easily set to cut at different thicknesses from wafer thin meat to a thick slice of bread. I've used it on meat and bread and both come out perfectly sliced. Really easy to clean. Suction feet are strong and stop the machine moving about while in use. The guard is large and substantial.. would definitely recommend this item

A must-have for slicing meats etc
This is a real benefit to most kitchens for slicing meats, bread or cheese. I decided to buy one for slicing joints especially for sandwiches in order to avoid buying prepackaged processed meat slices. This way you get fresh meat and even fresh from the oven if enjoyed that way.Like everything I always research others views before purchase and this model has best reviews in the price range. It is worth the praise because it's well made, sturdy and simple to use, easy to clean and entirely safe for fingers. Definitely the best buy if you're looking for a great versatile slicer.

Good, solid machine
The media could not be loaded. Love this machine as I have a bread maker and have never succeeded in cutting nice even slices by hand. It comes with 3 blades but the bread blade just messed up the slices and I was going to return the machine. Then I tried using the general purpose blade as per the attached video which works perfectly so have given 5 stars. The meat blade makes easy work of slicing home cooked ham, also I've used it for roast lamb and beef, perfect. Nice heavy machine, not too noisy and doesn't slip on my granite worktop.

Capable slicer
I bought this primarily to cut even bread slices with home baked and store bought bread. As another reviewer said, using the general purpose cutting blade worked well. However, the bread machine loaf was too tall for the machine and with the loaf on it's side, the carriage didn't go back far enough. I ended up moving the carriage out of the way and pushing the loaf through (carefully) by hand. It was an exceptionally large loaf though. I made 10 slices. It would have been 11 but one got mangled until I got the hang of it. Tip: smear a little silicon grease onto the bar that the carriage slides on. It makes a world of difference - very smooth to push! Overall first impression is of a capable domestic food slicer. Robust and easy to clean. 15mm max slice size won't make a doorstep sandwich, but that's what bread knives are for 😁. Looking forward to slicing meat. The resistance (drag) of a dense joint will test the motor. I'll update this with results if I can find out how to do that.
