Lite 8-Port Gigabit PoE+ Compliant Managed Switch USW-LITE-8-POE

Use this router in my garage to power a couple Ubiquitie POE cameras, our long-range U6 mesh component and our Ubiquiti Rocket Prism. It was simple to set up and works flawlessly. The device powers my 3 48v components (Prism takes 24V, so I use the POE injector it comes with). I know their equipment can be pricey, but it is worth every penny I spent on it!!

great for areas where you need a couple POE+ connections, Ubiquiti adopts and manages their stuff incredibly well, easy to configure, can configure ports for your needs, quick and small. Overall a very good buy.

Great switch. Easily adopted, works as expected with my existing ubiquiti setup.

We have four of these 8-port managed switches as a part of our home network. Connected to a UDM Dream Machine router as the cornerstone of our managed network, these switches allow us to monitor the entire network from the ISP internet connection to each endpoint. Since they are managed switches, we can have separate virtual networks on the same switch allowing for isolation of endpoints into different networks. They are POE switches so they can power POE devices such as wireless access points. They can be managed with the Unifi app on a tablet/phone or from a browser. We manage our switches as part of the larger network including the UDM but an individual switch can be managed if you download the correct software and adopt the switch. Instructions are available online. Care must be taken to follow the instructions and use the correct software to adopt the switch allowing it to be managed. Yes, I said that twice. It comes from 30 years as a technology consultant ;)

These switches work very well if you need POE+ capability. I wish they also supported passive 24 volt POE, but they don't.

4 ports poe, small form factor, easy to squeeze behind walls on installations. Hands down the best choice.
