Bottle leaks water everywhere

My youngest is Harry potter and lego mad, so this drinks bottle is a match made in heaven. It's a little smaller than his other bottles but other than that we have no complaints. It hasn't leaked and it's easy open/close for him to operate.

Bought this for my son to take to school. Lasted less than 2 weeks. The spout is made of a soft material and has torn right through.
